Oaxaca, in it's own right, is a magical area filled with centuries of tradition and an impressive variety of natural beauty. Tucked away on the southern coast of Mexico in a region where the eastern and western mountain ranges of the Sierra Madre merge and produce one of the largest biodiversified areas in the country. The capitol city of Oaxaca, home of Airexplora, sits in a pivitol point both culturally and geographically. Here we have convergence of precolumbian, spanish, and modern western cultures thriving in a point where three valleys meet, six hours from the pacific coast, six hours from Mexico city or a six hour drive from the Gulf of Mexico.
